On the whole a comfortable and well fitting appendix IWB. I don’t always carry the extra mag but am glad I purchased it, 1) Because it’s nice to have the option, and 2) because I find the whole hole holster more comfortable with it than without it.

The good: Nice fit and finish. It looks great, holds well. Customer service tries hard to keep you happy. The clips hold almost too well because it is hard to unclip to take it off for the bathroom or to change clothing. The bad: This is the most uncomfortable holster I have worn in 25 years of carrying concealed. I have only started appendix carrying but I have a crossbreed belly band that is much more comfortable. I am 5’ 11”, 180 and not an and not a fat guy but while wearing this it is horrible to bend over to tie shoes or anything below the knees. I have the medium cut and will need to trim it down about an inch to even make this usable. I am literally sore in the area where it digs in hours after wearing it. I regret buying it because it wasn’t cheap and is not cheaply made.

Fun fact, I bought a very nice blue carbon fiber Axis Elite holster at least 4-5 years ago for my M&P 45 Cal and was new to carrying and felt like I had a bazooka on me and everyone could see. Lol. Fast forward to now and I recently got the new S&W carry comp and a reg Axis Elite to save cash and just tried to see if it would fit in my older holster and it clicked in. Best holster company ever. And their cust service is off the charts. I have Axis Elite holsters for alllll my carry guns.

It's a fantastic product, offering maximum convenience for carrying a concealed gun. The attention to detail is impressive, showcasing its quality. However, it does require a wedge. The Tier 1 wedge is uncomfortable and inconvenient. When combined with the Mastermind Pillow, it becomes the ideal holster.

Well, let me preface with... I'm a fat guy, so no appendix holster is going to be super comfortable for me. That being said, I find the T.Rex Sidecar to be a little more comfortable. The Axis Elite is fantastic, don't get me wrong, but I feel like the solid connection of the T.Rex compared to the bungee on this one make it fit a little nicer.. again.. for me and my fat. The Axis Elite, I also find, digs into my pubis more than the T.Rex when I'm sitting, and I feel like it's due to the shape of the bottom seam. It almost seems sharper, not that it's sharp, I just don't have a better way to describe it. All that being said, the Axis Elite does provide EXCELLENT retension and, for the job it's intended for, it does a really good job... it's just not my preferred carry holster between the two. Now I will say, this isn't a straight comparison, as the holsters are for different arms. My Axis Elite is for my P365 XMacro Comp, while the T.Rex is for my Echelon. I think I also prefer my Echelon to my P365, so that also probably plays a little into the bias. Overall, I promise, if you're properly fit and don't have a gut, this holster is going to be fantastic for you. It's just not necessarily my favorite of this style holster that I have.

Holster itself is great but did create some hotspots from the flashlight area of the holster. I did get the standard wedges to try and help with that issue, but I probably should have gotten the wider ones. I ended up getting a mastermind tactics pillow wedge and fixed almost every hotspot and has made it a holster worth wearing. Still think I need to play with the adjustments a little bit more, but that'll come at a later time. Do feel every once in a while a slight hotspot on the left edge of the mag caddy, but a little shimmy and it's usually fine. I would recommend this holster to a friend but just with an aftermarket wedge.

This is my second Axis Elite. I’m probably on track for a 3rd for another handgun. I have used 5-6 different holsters and all of them in no way shape or form compare to my T1’s. This product has also caused me to invest in better pants, the ones I have aren't able to support everything, but that's only a personal problem. Would recommend this to anyone. I’ve paired it with a Kore Essentials belt and it rides well. I wasted money on alien gear, we the people, etc. and really wish I had just bought this one originally!

My first Axis Elite I struggled with ordering because of the free shipment code that they sent me wasn’t usable in my area so it wouldn’t let me place the order so I sent an email by that time I ordered without a free shipment code and it worked. By the time I checked my email they already responded telling me why and stated they refunded the shipping I paid for. Second Axis Elite I needed a spare part for my first holster and I said you can ship it with my second and they said no we will ship it out now. When I received what was supposed to be one piece they sent me the hardware for the entire holster. Because of their high quality holsters and customer service I’ll always return to Tier 1 and will always recommend Tier 1 to everyone. Works really well, the hard plastic can dig in and cause pressure points if it doesn't move for a while (which it won't unless I shift it myself). Outside of minor comfort issues it's easy to adjust, and it blends in well.

A very confortable holster. If I try hard I can only come up with 2 criticisms. First I should have ordered a holster with space for a light or lazer (My fault not the holsters fault). Second When you have the gun drawn it digs into your gut when you bend over. This can get very unconfortable when picking up brass. Otherwise this is by far the best holster I have ever had.

MONEY WELL SPENT! I’ve used many different kydex holsters over the past few years, trying to find a balance of quality and comfort. I held off for the longest time to buy a holster from Tier 1 because of the cost, but after using this holster and gettin a feel for it. I’ll only be gettin holster from Tier 1 from here on out! I am 5’ 10” weighin about 190 (for size reference). I ordered the Axis Elite in the Warrior Poet x Tier 1 with the UltiClips 3+. (I appreciate the fact they still give you the default clips in case you don’t like the UltiClips) I love the low profile and the holster raps around my body, what was the cherry on top was the holster doesn’t have any hot spots or spots where there’s discomfort on my appendix. I also got their shirt from them in a medium, I’ll leave a review for the shirt as well. I will definitely be a future customer and tellin everyone I know to check Tier 1 out for all things conceal carry.

I was originally skeptical due to the relatively "higher" price point when compared to other holsters on the market, but after having the holster for the last little bit I can say that this is the most comfortable holster that I own, and I have tried a lot of different brands. Other holsters design ride so low on belt line it makes it difficult to get a proper purchase on pistol handle( belt gets in way of handle.. i wear it in ever shooting class .. highly recommend, If I where president, My only wish if the did them with felt fuzz on them at least on the back side for those hot summer days and you don’t have sweaty kydex rubbing against your skin

This is the best AIWB holster on the market. I never leave the house without a gun and comfortability and usability are important when it comes to a holster. On top of everything, they live up to their brand name and are highly concealable. Even with a full size gun, I don’t have issues. It’s worth the price if you want the best. This was my first gun purchase a S&W M&P 2.0 compact with a Holoson green dot and a TLR-8A light and laser. I have no complaints about the quality or workmanship of the holster. For the cost I would expect nothing less. My only issue with the holster is that I could not get it to not print. I tried all the adjustments and wedges even took it apart and just used the holster part no luck. So now it sits in the draw collecting dust.

I have purchased a lot of different holsters over the years for a lot of different pistols that i have owned but these are the very best holsters that i have ever purchased period! The AXIS ELITE is fastened together with military-grade shock cord and allows the firearm to flex closer into the body independently of the magazine for better concealment. This connection also allows the holster to flex where needed while performing other acts like getting in and out of vehicles and bending over.

Over time and a lot of use, the shock cord may need to be replaced. It can also be easily removed and swapped out with different colors.
